Plastic Laminate Countertops

15$ - 20$ per hour

Mill Tech, LLC is a leading Architectural Woodworking manufacturer located in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Our 60,000 SF facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. We are currently looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team in our Plastic Laminate Countertop department.

The Plastic Laminate Countertop department is responsible for the daily activities in the plant which include:

  • Understanding shop drawings as they pertain to countertops
  • Review materials for quality before fabrication
  • Operate specialized equipment
  • Responsible for adherence to all safety policies
  • Fabrication of plastic laminate countertops and other items
  • Properly store and move finished pieces
  • Maintain a clean organized work environment

 

Education/Experience:

  • The ability to pay attention, follow direction and learn quickly
  • Creative thinker, problem solver
  • Experience is more important than education, Some added education a plus
  • 1 year or more experience in fabrication or construction

The Solid Surface department is responsible for the daily activities in the plant which include:

  • Understanding shop drawings as they pertain to solid surface
  • Review materials for quality before fabrication
  • Operate specialized equipment
  • Responsible for adherence to all safety policies
  • Fabrication of solid surface countertops and other items
  • Properly store and move finished pieces

Mill Tech, LLC is a leading Architectural Woodworking manufacturer located in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Our new 60,000 SF facility is equipped with the most state-of-the-art equipment. We are currently looking for a highly motivated Installer to join our team.

 

Our Installers

  • Install all Mill Tech products.
  • Communicate with jobsite supervisors.
  • Analyze the job site to ensure safety of personnel and product.
  • Finalize projects and review final details and “punch” items.
  • Responsible for monitoring and adherence to all safety policies.
  • Ensure quality installation and no damage to product.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, do not create jobsite hazards from our actions.
  • Commit to proper PPE and tool use.
  • Follow AWI standards.
  • Commit to company policy and procedures.

 

Education/Experience:

  • Creative thinker, problem solver, coordinator, and implementer.
  • Experience is more important than education, Some added education a plus.
  • Millwork installation or manufacturing experience.
  • Carpentry/Installation tools and equipment.
  • Experience reading architectural blueprints or shop drawings.

 

Qualifications:

  • Honesty and Integrity are held in high regard.
  • Experienced in cabinetry and millwork installation.
  • Highly motivated and capable of handling demanding issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and/or the ability to pass background checks for jobsite badging is needed.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 hour in General Industry is a bonus.
